My daughter and I were really excited to check this place out, and drove across town to do so. Unfortunately our experience was cut short because immediately upon entering the store, we were informed that we would have to place our (very small) purses behind their counter. We were absolutely not comfortable doing this and offered to allow the staff to check our purses before we left, but we were told that was not an option. While we understand that they are seeking to mitigate thieves, I am not going to shop in a place that makes me feel like they think I am a criminal. ??
I was hoping to support a small business but I didn't get a chance to look around before the worker asked me to put my very small purse in my car in order to continue shopping which is outrageous. Very unwelcoming and cold atmosphere. Won't be choosing to return. Prices were mediocre for the beads and almost laughable for the crystals.

Its been many years since I have been here. It is still the greatest bead and accessory supplier! The inventory is plentiful and gorgeous! The employees are kind and helpful. I will forever be your customer A bead source! Thanks for your help today!
I don't live in OR, but when I'm in Portland visiting family, I always stop and shop here! Great bead store
