Katherine was so amazing and helped me with candles along with a message I needed, great store!

My sister & I were soo excited when we came across this shop. The customer service here is nonexistent. We were not greeted when we came in, we were not asked if we needed any assistance or offered any, although we were the only customers in the store. The energy here is not welcoming!

I’ve been a loyal customer of House of Intuition for years. While living in Los Angeles, I regularly visited their California locations and swore by their candles - they truly work! During a recent trip to Miami, I visited the local store twice and had two very different customer service experiences. On my first visit, Nicole was the shopkeeper and she was incredibly helpful. Although I’m familiar with many of the products, my partner was not, and Nicole took the time to thoroughly explain how to use the candles, oils, and sprays. Her attentiveness and kind energy was appreciated, especially after reading several reviews mentioning inconsistent customer service. However, my second visit was disappointing. I stopped in briefly to pick up another Palo Santo spray, and the employee working that day, Katherine, was noticeably unwelcoming. She didn’t greet me when I entered, and when I approached the counter and offered a friendly hello, she didn’t respond. I still thanked her after the transaction and wished her a good day, but the only words she spoke were, “Do you want a receipt?” I’m sharing this feedback primarily for the store’s management. Customer service is a vital part of any business, but especially in a space centered around spiritual well-being. Being intentional about who represents your brand on the floor makes all the difference in creating a supportive and healing environment. I also hope this serves as a gentle nudge for Katherine; either toward personal growth or toward a role better suited for them if engaging with people is not their strength.

I have purchased sage, black obsidian, prayer candles and taper candles from this location. As of today, I made a small purchased and bought some tapers candles from Michaels! I also brought a prayer candle with an affirmation on it that I previously bought on it. I wanted to add as many tester oils as possible to use on several rituals I was doing.. as I am a witch in training. The employee rudely told me not to use up all their testers and I thought that was unprofessional because I am a returning customer and I wanted to experiment with their products. This was today, April 18 at around 11:15-11:30AM, shortly after they opened. Whoever that employee is, they need more training on customer service and hospitality. They were very unpleasant and although this is the closest location to me... I prefer either the beach location or online. Thank you very much!
