Scent Elate is truly one of the most special places in New York City. The shop itself is cozy, full of energy, and has such a welcoming vibe but what makes it unforgettable is the owner, Mo. Ive only visited twice (the last time back in December 2018), yet Mo has kept in touch with us ever since. Hes gone above and beyond, even taking orders over the phone and mailing them across the country. Just recently, I reached out and the very next day he called to talk through what was going on in our lives and what we needed. Less than a week later, a package arrived!! Its rare to meet someone who instantly feels like more than a business owner Mo has become a guide and a friend. His kindness, generosity, and connection to people is truly one of a kind. If youre in Manhattan, you have to visit Scent Elate. Its so much more than just a store its an experience.
