Love this shop.

If you are looking for almost any kind of spiritual book, you'll probably find it here. I wish I had had more time to browse as there were lots of interesting minerals as well as statues I was unable to examine as I was going to lunch.

This is such a great place & so happy its still around after so much of Santa Monica has changed or gone. The very nice guy working there tonite on 8/4 had great energy, was very helpful even when the register didn't want to suddenly work. Vibes from those that tend/ work the store matter and brings prosperity. I truly appreciate this shop and all of the woo woo and spiritual things it offers our community. A gem.. Sadly many shops like this are not around anymore, namely the Bodhi tree on melrose and the list goes on. But this place is still thriving and helping all of us on the path keep goin with the goods we need to feed our souls. Like Sage, good local sage is hard to find now. Affordable rocks and crystals. A plethora of books & great metaphysical spiritual classics. We need more small business's that help us to cultivate a thriving spiritual life. ????????

Loved visiting this shop. Very expansive selection of crystals, books, statues/sculptures, and more. Staff is very welcoming and chill, with the vibe that is not just being nice but legitimately kind. Would have absolutely bought a tarot deck here if I weren't already bound to mine, since the selection is massive. (The entire right wall!) Place smells amazing, too. Will come back.

The staff is kind, helpful, and knowledgeable without being pushy—happy to guide you if you’re looking for something specific, or simply let you browse at your own pace. One quiet but meaningful touch: above the register is a dedication to the owner’s beloved dog, a sweet reminder that this space is created with love and intention. Thunderbolt is more than just a shop—it’s a gentle, grounding place to explore, learn, and reconnect. I’m so glad I found it and will definitely be back.
